Find the Intrinsic Motivator to Attract More Passive Candidates

The Macroscope: in this week's recruiting hot tip Lou Adler suggests that you need to understand a passive candidate's intrinsic motivating need for switching jobs just to attract their attention. Adler contends that to hire the top-half of the top-half you need to convert this motivator into short pitch you can use in emails, postings and voice mail. Adler points out that without a pitch all you're left with are those with an economic need to change jobs.
